TEETH ERUPTION SYMPTOMS
Teeth eruption may cause lack of appetite, squeamishness, sloppy rhinitis and slack stool. About 50% of children are also salivating when milk teeth are erupting. Pain can be eased by chewing a wet rag. Painkillers can be given to a child, if needed. Sometimes a child may also have slight fever.
Use of pacifer or sucking thumb should be restricted by 2 years of age due to increased risks of malocclution and growth of jaw to unfavourable direction.
